Mint Chutney

Mint Chutney is a sharp, spicy, and bright sauce. It has a touch of heat from the pepper, garlic and onions- balanced with the coolness of fresh mint. Use it as a dip or finishing sauce.

Mint Chutney

  • 1 C mint chopped

  • 1/2 C cilantro chopped

  • 1 jalapeƱo chopped (stem and seeds removed)

  • 2 garlic cloves chopped

  • 1 small yellow onion chopped

  • 1 lime (juice)

  • 1 T olive oil

  • 1/4 t ground corriander

  • 1/2 C water

Combine all ingredients in blender- blend until sauce forms. Add less water if a thicker sauce is desired. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
