Charred Tomato Butter
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter at room temp.
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 t smoked paprika
  • salt to taste

Char tomato on open grill or directly on gas stove.  Purée tomato.  Combine all ingredients into butter.  Transfer compound butter to small canning jar.  Keeps well in fridge for two weeks.
